i've never understood why they needed to get a sequel and how the sequel was meant to improve on the first (they look the same practically). even now its still a bit of a mess. might be just easier to cut their losses and run at this point.

I don't know, I assumed engine was built from scratch. Its the new Crysis, built for PC we will have in 10 years time... maybe. I am sure it wasn't intentional.. just like Crysis. Or am I thinking of Far Cry?
