I play a few games and one requires only X-Axis movement. Y-Axis just gets in the way and I do not have the ability to control that despite a lot of effort.
So, I hacked a RollerBall mouse, the old sort, with a but of tape. It works but it is old and collects dust and, well rollerball mice were always eurgh!
I have tried x mouse and autohotkey macros that work until I hit the game which In guess by passes Windows mouse drivers or the like. (I am not an expert).
So, mouse, can turn off Y-axis or hardware that can make the PC only see the X-Axis and buttons?
Any help or pointers?
Thanks, and yes, I really think I have looked everywhere, tried the above fixes and I have hit a brick wall. Help me punch through.
Oh, the "game" is second live and it is via Firestorm I play.
