I've still got my Star Citizen card! How they are going to handle redeeming that ancient kickstarter I have no idea.
That was so long ago you are kind of like the last living WWII soldier or something.I've still got my Star Citizen card! How they are going to handle redeeming that ancient kickstarter I have no idea.
humble choice is up and besides boltgun, nothing else tickles my fancy. another miss for me!
I've been playing Sekiro since December 2024. Im on my second run having finished the game about a month ago. It took so long as I have time for occasional play. Anyone else here who loves this game? If so, what you like the best about it?
I got through most if it and had fun until I got stuck on the least mission and fell off. There is a story for sure, and its not quite as unclear as other Fromsoft games, its just that each level is self contained and in between you get to upgrade the mech and load it out for the next mission. I understand its one of those where new game plus reveals more of the story and gives you more options, but obviously never got that far.i have been looking into armoured core 6 but something about it rubs me the wrong way. i think its the lack of narrative and it would just make it seem like a set of simulations or random awesome battles, which whilst fun don't do much for me. it just feels like a load of sub games.
Sekiro is great! Its the parry for me that makes it, when you get in the zone with it and learn the sequences of attack and defend perfectly it just flows so well.I've been playing Sekiro since December 2024. -Get on planePlayed some Balatro since it's on Game Pass. It's a nice way to waste a few minutes while you are waiting for something else to happen.
It's posts like these that make me wish we had a sad face emote. I have no knowledge in mobo/BIOS related issues so I'm of no use, but I hope you can get it fixed though.so my PC has been playing recently it seems like the Bios is an issue atm. Not sure how it happened but more worryingly, despite buying another battery the issue is still occurring. i might check again that the battary is in properly and reflash to the latest bios. i've added a note just to see if its there the next time it happens.

This is random, but I've had it solve issues before. Kind of wonder if it's some issue with capacitors, in which case: power down the machine, flip off the power supply and unplug it. Now give the power button ten full presses, plug everything back in and see what happens.Well i flashed the bios to the latest version and the problem still persists. Its still asking for bios recovery/set up. Interestingly the note message i added is still there (after i turned off the power), but the time is set to 00:00 2018. If i reboot the machine it retains the settings, so back to battery being the issue.
As an experiment i'm going to boot the pc with no cmos (2023r) battery and reset it completely and then put the battery back in and see what happens. I might try the bios recovery thing again but so far that hasn't worked.
Theres no indication of any errors with other hardware (all mem is there). it feels like there is an issue with POST. Rather then whirling to life, there is a delay before firing up and asking me to set up the bios again.

I don't play scrabble, but I think it would be a good strategy against normal players just to memorize all the 2, 3 and 4 letter words and just use those. You would quickly create a terrible board, which would give you a further advantage. There is good... and then there is too good
Being the World Champion French and Spanish Scrabble player without speaking either language is too good
Why we're still using bloody batteries for Bios i have no idea.
I wondered that myselfThe CMOS battery is not there to provide power to the computer when it is in operation, it's there to maintain a small amount of power to the CMOS when the computer is powered off and unplugged. The primary function of this is to keep the clock running even when the computer is turned off. Without the CMOS battery, every time you turned on the computer you would need to reset the clock.
On older systems the CMOS battery also provided the small amount of charge required to maintain the nonvolatile BIOS memory, which remembered BIOS settings between reboots. On modern systems this information is typically stored in flash memory and does not require a charge to be maintained.
Yeah, I really didn't find it enjoyable or gripping. I gave it just under two hours before refunding. I really liked how the game looked, I think the graphics and art style are very pleasant, but after unscrewing the same kettle for the third time in a row, I decided it wasn't for me. Still have yet to pick up Dysmantle, I think the sale is over now though.@neogunhero I actually bought I am Future when it first launched and then refunded it about an hour later. Couldn't stand it.
