Welcome to the forums @SBan83! CMR 2.0 is my favorite racing game of all time. Played it a lot with my father and we had steering wheel and pedals and got quite competitive in it. Fighting against each other and shaving off those milliseconds was pretty awesome. My favorite car was the Subaru Impreza 2.0 (Petter Solberg fan here) and Finland and Sweden were my favorite maps. Right now I am playing Forza Horizon 4 and mainly playing it for sniping cars on the auction house and free-roaming doing stunts and drifting.

Thanks @Frindis ! Sounds like some great memories for sure with your father over CMR 2.0! And big Petter Solberg fan here too -- I simply loved his personality and driving style. After he left, I latched on to Latvala until Toyota eventually got tired of footing his repair bills, sadly!

Hello, am Tristan. Mortal Kombat is so far my best game with guts. The genre of kungu fu style fight and the practice made easy with a game console is breath taking. I also do play Tekken.

Am looking forward to expanding my taste to other games and interacting with you all.

Whaaa...? Never introduced myself. Sorry, forgot all about this topic.

I'm badman. Belgian. No, I'm not that bad. My nick actually means something different in dutch: bath-man, translated. Together with the superhero-link, it's actually an 'ok' nick I thought.

Well then, where to start? Born in 1980, so started PC gaming early 90's when we got our 386SX. I've seen a whole generation of games passing by. Actually, I consider myself lucky. Young gamers might never feel the same thrill we had when we got our hands on the all-time classics: Wolfenstein 3D, Doom 1-2, Duke Nukem 3D, C&C, The Need For Speed, Half-Life...We started our 'career' with games like EgaWalls, Alley Cat, LodeRunner, Prince Of persia...all great games. Then, on a nice sunny day in 1992, our dad ran in to the room with a demo copy of Wolfenstein 3D (PC Format magazine). You just can not describe the feeling we had back then. It was like stepping into a time machine. A milestone was born. We never knew back then that we were about to have the same experience with Doom, Duke Nukem, etc...Google a game like 'Incoming'. That game might look horrific. But I remember spending a stack of money on my Pentium 166MMX, buying a new 8mb Diamond Voodoo 2, just for Incoming. When we finally started playing, my jaw dropped in amazement on how fantastic those graphics were LOL. So, I've see some things passing by. Same with hardware: 386SX,486SX, 486DX4, Pentium,...A bunch of graphics cards. The very best being the Radeon 9800 PRO. Why? That card was so insanely powerfull when it came out, that it lasted for years. It's the one thing that I might hang on my wall some day. Do I still play today? Offcourse: Red Dead Redemption 2 is my current 'project'. I'm in to open world games. I actually like playing a lot of games, except adventures/MMO's/most turn-based games (but I loved Jagged Alliance). I have a reasonable big box collection (because 'duh') and kept most old hardware pieces. Yes, I might be too nostalgic. The same goes with my old toys (MASK, GI Joe, Lego,...) I've kept them and I plan to restore them back to their old 'glory'. See you on the forum!!!!

Hi.. I am Nikhil.. I am not a pro-kind of gamer, but used to play a lot of games on my low end laptops over past 10-12 years.. I love RPG, open world, strategy & city building games. I never plays multiplayer. Single player games is what I love. Recently bought a decent gaming laptop - Lenovo Legion 5i. Looking forward to enjoy some quality gaming time in the coming months.

Hello all, I've owned a PC since 1999 & the first proper PC game I played was Half Life, I actually bought this game with my first rig. I paid £850 for my first PC...wow PC's were expensive in those days. Entering this price into an inflation calculator works out to £1,484.15 in todays money.
I used to use newsgroups & newsbin...I'm in the process of a new budget build too & ordering the parts as we speak; Now I like FPS , driving & tycoon building games; I'm a Linux user primary & have a good knowledge generally on building & hardware so I may be able to help with peoples problems.

Hello all you gamers out there! I am a huge really long time gamer at 70 years young. It all started with Atari, processing thru almost all of the consoles (which I still have today) to the PC. First love was Zelda. I was introduced to PC gaming with X-com UFO defense,in 1986 and I was hooked for life. Played them all thru and really enjoyed xcom2. I have so many favorite games I would actually have to do some research to come up with a list of say a top ten. I have been getting the magazine for approximately 36 years now, I saved all the demo CD's, hope they will still work today. Lately I am hooked on Project Cars 2. I actually need to upgrade my computer so I can fit more games on it. I currently have 171 games on steam. But to play anymore games I have to take one off. Dont want to do that and I am working towards a solution. I will work on a top ten PC games of all time for me. Hope to hear from you older gamers!
