He would would wear full black plain clothing and a black hoodie with the hood always on. Any opportunity that he can benefit on, the lives of others don't matter, he will do whatever he needs to benefit himself. A true psychopath.

Cyberpunk so... Who says that guy has to be human? An AI elevated taking the skin of a human (deceased?) could be interesting. Anyway, someone who has to be stealthy because he or she could be hunted down.

Their name would be Arantxa, their backstory would be they were given up at a young age by a father that worked in a dangerous line of work like that of the mafia/narcos but instead of drugs it's dealing tech, cyber weapons and those kinds of things and he couldn't bear to let his child be in harm's way.

They would be given to a underground group of people who have a secret society thing going on basically they control alot of society and have alot of control over the city in general but the general public isn't aware of what they are doing because due to their opressive and corrupt government they cannot be outed. They are diverse group of people with skills ranging from technical, tactical and more emotional/knowledgeable subjects if you get what I mean.

The cool thing about her is she is half human half Android/cyber she has a mechanical cyber eye that is great for missions because it helps track, find and analyse things as well as detect things and emotions on people which in her line of work is useful. She lost her eye at a young age due to her being the daughter of a mafia member which doesn't need an explanation but because the father was also poor he couldn't do much for her. As for her mother, her mother was a very powerful women within the government, and fell in love with him at a young age and ran off with him for a while, got involved, lost her position in government was disgraced by her family and was assassinated due to her betrayal and abandonment of her position.

Arantxa Is streetwise, knows her way around the city and country, has great combat skills, great at stealth and is sometimes hired as a bounty hunter because she has such a great reputation, but sometimes has hesitations when it comes to hurting people or torturing them due to her empathetic nature. She's a very attractive character and has a very broad range of interests and knowledge and is passionate about many things and loves to engage in conversations with people and learn about them. Although she has some underlying issues in terms of self esteem and mental health.
She wants to find her father again one day and thanks to her being in a secretive underground society she has a great advantage of being able to take down the government, which will be a big F you because they killed her mother.

That's my ideal character.

Skillset: Always love the "Strong and Slient" type attribute of a character. So being a master of stealth, with top close quarter combat skills would be ideal.
Mysterious past: A no name kid left for dead in the streets in a grim city, with nothing but his will to survive. A mysterious fellow offers him sanctuary, a place to live, eat and sleep. Training him in various combat techniques, weaponry and social interactions. With Saintuary's will to survive, he will do whatever it takes to find the truth of why he was abandoned by his parents, in a world controlled by those that are corrupted by fortune.

Cyberpunk character has to be smart, a Netrunner and a hacker that can understand the tech and know how to use it against enemies. Strength and agility don't matter when you can get cyber upgrades to augment those systems for you. Also I'm super psyched for both Cyberpunk 2077 and Red. Been into these type of worlds since Shadowrun tabletop and the original Netrunner card game.

My ideal character is one I’ve played before in both Shadowrun and Cyberpunk 2020 is a character named Sunni “Wise Hands”, he’s a second generation Chinese American, and martial arts based physical based Solo with cyber ware arms, cyber weave torso, and leg augments, he has a concealed pistol in one arm, and a grenade launcher mounted in his other, he formerly worked as high level Corpo’s personal body guard when one of the Corpo’s mistresses killed him while he was on guard outside his condo, disgraced and excommunicated from the corporation who made him, he turned to making money with his skill set by running street jobs. He doesn’t get the cyberpunk world and is very by the books because his former corporate lifestyle.

He/She has everything needed at his/her disposal to complete a mission/contract and can perform that in various ways. This not only would unlock more opportunities but also make him/her a very feared and respected operative/mercenary of Night city.

I loved how it reminded me of a futuristic version of a frontier complete with the wildness, and lawlessness of living in that world. A world where only the strong could survive, and thrive. Where what you were mattered. Not a romanticized, but gritty, yet with a shine to it's world. The shine of life, and for for me that meant making the world a better place. I'm a fixer, and for some purposes a mercenary. Is your job worth my time?

My perfect character would be a sleeper human. On the outside look as normal as possible with the exception of some small thing like a finger/hand or just one eye (never two). Under the hood it has all of the upgrades.

I'm quite new to Cyberpunk in general, but I'll give a thought of a character that would fit the theme.

His name's Alphonse, and he's a cyborg who joined a mafia in Night City to support himself. He works like a computer, where he upgrades himself with better parts. On top of that, he also plugs components into his arm to boost him for, say, a minute. His ultimate goal is to be on top of everyone else in his mafia, and rule the streets with a steel fist.

My ideal Cyberpunk character would be someone who was initially a test subject for some high tech company. They would have originally been very poor, looking for any fast and easy way to make a lot of money. In their pursuit, they’re picked up by a company that’s looking for test subjects for new lethal augmentations. After dozens of tests and new implants, the company never comes through with the money and suddenly their own weapons are being used against them. My character, in a fit of rage, goes on a spree of hunting down everyone on the company’s hierarchy until they're satisfied with the deaths of those who wronged them and several briefcases full of Eddies.

My character would be a quiet, unassuming guy. About mid-20s, short dark hair, bit of a scruff that kind of thing. Backstory I imagine that he was a street urchin sort of thing until he stole a simple arm augment and sold it for a good bit of cash, using the money to buy simple implants, which in turn helped him survive and steal attracting attention of contractors. These in turn ended up providing him with money which kept the cycle going. Get money, buy cybernetic implants, get more work, ending up in a cycle where he was more machine than human. Now he prowls Night City, still gathering contracts and trying to find the next best piece of tech to upgrade himslef even more slowly but surely losing his grasp on his own humanity. Welp, that got a bit edgy in the end there, but yeah, something like that would be cool.
