but I decided instead to jump on an
item that gives me ward from kills (2-sec cooldown)
i have one of those on one of my warlocks. I can't remember which one has it .. they all have retention anyway so it just spikes it up over 1000 when it happens. Lich and necro both don't have any skills that let you retain it... meant to use other things to survive... pets or leech... lichs can get life from magic damage and life leech.
I didn't feel like playing any of my high lvl characters and jumping on a low lvl one you forget how to play is one way to get them killed. So I made another Paladin, he in chapter 7 already.
Your typical resists for a Paladin
Block chance sure helps. Used my 3rd of these all his life
It was not even started, I just had it in bank.
I get ward on block so just need to get some retention to get some for free. Given I face tank archers and annoy them by blocking almost all their shots, I need the bonus it offers. That slow must be helping too.
he found a unique chest piece I had before, and was glad to find again. He was first made since i deleted 4 tabs by accident. Mostly replaced the space now... and filled with new crap. Lucky most of the things new characters used weren't unique and I had them still. I have 2 tabs of just chests for various classes.
He isn't using any purples yet. I don't have that many low lvl ones.
He had an interesting second chapter. the big purple creatures that fire a beam from their body and jump on you, were invisible the entire chapter. Its only cause I know where to expect them that I had any chance, and using a rive build at time with 4 sword "pets" sure helped as game knows where the things are... I just hear them. I avoided an extra one as I didn't feel like fighting something I can't see. Its happened once before, in a monolith... I wonder if it was same thing. I just left that monolith at time, but well... in chapter 2 I just had to keep going.
Other things were different too. When you play campaign enough you know where things will be... tonight some were impatient and didn't wait for me to get to where they should be. Luckily nothing else has been invisible.
Impressive loot explosions... I think I need to edit my filters as I see too much on some characters.
Guess I should stop ignoring the imprisoned mages, its just some characters I play would struggle to kill the things... so i just leave them alone.
