What is the best sports game ever?

BEST SPORTS GAME EVER?

I wasn't going to participate at first, as I thought you meant licensed sports games, which I never play. Then I saw Rocket League and I realized that apparently anything applies. 😵
Anyway, as far as the sports type games I've spent the most time on, Monster Energy Supercross 3 and 4, and GRID 2019 are probably the ones I've played and enjoyed the most. That doesn't necessarily convince me they are the best sports games ever though.
Come to think of it, the Monster Energy Supercross series IS an officially licensed franchise of actual Supercross racing and uses the same venues, tracks, and rider names. So I take that back, I may not be a mainstream licensed sports game junkie, but I DO like the ME Supercross games. 👍
