One you move around, the other you sit there conserving 100 percent of your energy so that you can put 100 percent of that energy into doing 100 percent of absolutely nothing, which I totally do. The sitting part, not the moving one.

So why is it called the Olympic Games, then, from your description? :D

TBF Cricket tests that last 5 days match that description well if you a fielder. Hate to imagine how boring they would have been before the max length was 5 days. Some only ended as the ship was leaving to take team home.

main difference between sports and games

Assume you mean video games, or are you including analog too like board, card etc?

Main difference is player agency or control.

In video games you have lots of control over what, when, where, for how long, and with whom.

Social sports can provide agency, eg house rules, timing, venue, handicap etc—so they'd be closer to video games than competitive sports.

Sport is proper physical activity, stress on certain muscle groups. And a game is entertainment, the purpose of which is not to train the body, but simply to play, to spend time together.
