At first there was a bit of a shock at how much of the starting sequence, which was prolonged past my expectations, was involving many threads of of dialogue, and animation. It was a bit out of my comfort zone and I struggled with not really being involved much in the way of player activity. But when I started finding myself drawn into the story, and getting a real sense of involvement as "V" I realized how brilliant it is.
In the past, for years since release, I was quite deeply into Fallout 4, which I think was my first purchase, and then later Red Dead Redemption 2. Looking back on RDR 2 it kind of prepared me to a new way of story interaction. Kudo's to the team that created this brilliant masterpiece.
