Do note that the game will stay available on their own website for free. It will also be available on Steam if you've already claimed it (which I just did). If you haven't claimed it you'll (soon) have to buy Transport Tycoon Deluxe to get access to it.

I like that the Steam page for OpenTTD claims that the name is not an abbreviation for anything. I guess that's not enough to avoid being taken off of Steam as a standalone game.
