There's nothing wrong with having two listed for one franchise. There's no rule against it. However, I'm going to have to move either Doom 1 or Doom 2 into second spot and move everything else down one.

Ok, id remove Doom 2 from the list and Skyrim because the other 2 listed for those franchises are the ones that got me hooked. That 10th spot, you can just put Ghost Recon

if Mario64 was on list, Lutfi might have a fit. So many people listed it as their first ever PC game in another thread, its not funny.

There's a native Windows port of it, so does it not count as a PC game? Where do we draw the line on this, I wonder. Red Dead 2 has a port to Windows, but is a console game technically, right?

Do we draw the line at fan games? As I would say something like Ashes 2063 or Doom Infinite are legitimate contenders.

Or perhaps just Nintendo in general, as there's only a few instances of actual Nintendo games appearing on PC.

No horse in this race, as I've never gotten beyond 10 minutes into Mario 64, I'm just playing Devil's Advocate here.

I could have convinced several people to post their top 10s and provided at least a little more support for some of my games, but I don't actually care where my games fall in the list. I did tag Mr. Satisfactory in some thread, but not this one, and I knew he wouldn't post a top 10, and even if he did, he wouldn't follow the rules and I'd have to disqualify it. I mostly just wanted to see what games he would list.

@BeardyHat It's pretty simple. It has to be an official port. Can't be reverse engineered. Otherwise this list would include pretty much every game, and I'd be tempted to put Wave Racer and Goldeneye in my list, both of which I played on PC fairly recently

I can no longer edit my list, but I'm removing Soma and Portal, moving those to honorable mention, and replacing them with Total War Warhammer 3 and Remnant 2.

And if there are no complaints, I'm going to count everyone's votes for TWW2 and TWW1 as just votes for TWW3 (there aren't that many points transferring), as I don't think we need all 3 games on the list, and they are essentially all the same game. TWW3 just has more of everything. I realize the campaign of 2 is preferred by some players, and if we really want it separated out, we can do that.

I was originally counting honorable mentions because I was afraid that we wouldn't have enough games to get to 100, but if we do in fact have 100 then I'm okay not counting honorable mentions if everyone else agrees. Or we could do a separate "The next 100"

Thanks. And as long as the ties don't get crazy, we'll do that, but if we have 10 games tied for a spot, I think we'd probably need to break that down a bit. That probably didn't happen. I haven't actually looked at it carefully, but since we changed the scoring, it's much less likely.

On the bright side, every game everyone listed in their top 10 is in the top 100. That's nice. I'm actually very happy with how it turned out. I just don't want all those ties. I'll look at the honorable mentions later.

Honorable mentions aren't overly helpful. I'm considering using sales figures as the tie breaker. I don't really want to run a bunch of polls, and that's likely to still leave a bunch of ties, so it would be a lot of work only to lead us back to needing a tie breaker.

I was mostly thinking about what people who had played it would think about its position in the list. It's a remarkable game and probably should be in our top 10, but I couldn't find room for it in mine, and it's so old and requires so much reading that a lot of people haven't played it.
