Terra Mystica

A friend of ours got this game a dozen or so weeks ago and we've been playing it at least once a week since, often more and a couple times twice in a row.

We recently discovered it can also be played online and my wife has been playing about 5 consecutive games ever since.

Does anyone else have experience with this game? What are your thoughts?

OH ya! Terra Mystica is great. It's been years now since I last played it but my game group loved it at the time. You might want to check out Gaia Project. It's the same game but in space with a modular board and a few other minor differences.

Since my last post, my wife, my friend and myself have joined an online tournament and introduced another friend to the game. I currently have 9 online active games, including the league games.

I'll definitely take a look at the Gaia Project as well, thanks @XoRn

And very expensive, the bane of the best board games
I might wait until they improve the digital version, if they ever do.

There is a web version of Terra Mystica, made by Juho Snellman. It doesn't look quite as good as the Steam game, but it plays a lot better.
