How to check refurbished grafics card ?

I am planning to buy a refurbished graphic card from a local shop but I didn't know I used a graphics card?

Where, might I ask, are you located? The term for refurbished can vary for the Asian subcontinent seeing how a second hand card which was damaged, then repaired and then sold by some shady store can also be listed as a refurbished seller of (graphics cards) items.

If I recall, Steve from Gamers Nexus, did a GPU buying guide. Might need to dig that up...
