I once read somewhere—on the internet, so it must be true—that your eyes have a thing called 'immune privilege.' You and up to four friends (outrageous; who has four friends?) find yourselves trapped in the headquarters of the Hellfire Club, based on real-life Irish legends of a fancy-yet-sinister secret society, and must explore until you find your way out. Also, don't die. Not dying is a prerequisite to escaping.

Sound interesting? Great, because we've partnered up with Blumhouse to give away 500 (count 'em: 500) codes for Eyes of Hellfire. Between August 29 and September 9, 500 lucky forums users can get their hands on a code for the game. Completing the first game cooperatively with my wife which was Gears of War. New she was the one then if she played that through lol probably the highlight of my coop time.

My best friend, we'll call him Steve, is the one who got me into PC gaming. The first game we played together was Terraria. I have a bad memory due to an accident but I have very vivid memories of Steve and I screaming at Terraria bosses in the middle of the night and our dads yelling at us to quiet down. Makes me laugh every time I think about it.

Hanging out with the homies in the Battletech 3056 MUSE. I don't think voice chat even existed back then (certainly not as a mainstream tool) but we were a pretty tight bunch anyway. I miss that kind of experience.

One of my favorite co-op memories was playing Left 4 Dead 2 with some friends way back when. We were limping toward the safe room, totally out of ammo, everyone low on health, alarms blaring—and just as a tank showed up, one friend sacrificed himself to distract it while the rest of us made it inside. We were all yelling over voice chat, and even though he didn’t make it, it felt like the most heroic thing ever in the moment.

My favorite coop moment has to be Markiplier playing with Jack, Bob, and Wade on Phasmophobia and all three of them busting out laughing when Mark dies to the ghost

Favorite co-op moment I've had was in Hunt Showdown. My friend and I were going after the bounty holders. We were the last two teams left. He went down and so did one of there teammates. I got hit twice being almost dead and also hit with bleeding. I stead of stopping the bleeding I hold an angle that I know the last one is around and want just a second or two for him to punch around and get a headshot dropping him and quickly stopping the bleeding with just a sliver of life left. Was so close.

Probably when I was playing zombies with friends on a mc map. We were close to buying an ending but I ended up activating gun game mode because I had no idea what it did. One of my friends watched helplessly as I ruined the whole game. Everyone was yelling at me after that but it was just too funny for me to care. They were using some of the most creative insults too it was incredible.

My favourite co-op moment was when we were children and my brother figured out how to play multiplayer on a GTA San Andreas, he would stay awake until my parents slept and then wake me up in the middle of the night so we could play together

My favorite moment in co-op was in ARK: Survival Evolved, where we spent the first day desperately trying to cobble together some kind of shelter while hungry raptors circled around. One of us chopped down trees, the other collected rocks, and by sunset we had a small but hopeful house made of straw.

Probably had to be many close calls escaping in the Friday the 13th game. Once even taking down Jason. I always enjoyed the asymmetrical horror themed games
