Build Name: Optimist V1.0

Rationale: 3070 FE ($499 MSRP?) availability is probably a bigger lottery than this giveaway, hence the Optimist! While a better GPU could have popped in there, this build is geared to have enough space (just!), power and pizzazz to upgrade to the 3080 when (well... if) I win it! Two SSD's so that games and OS can have their own respective domains, the Mobo should allow that processor to be turned all the way up to 11, and if we have to stick with the 3070 FE the word among the street kids is that it overclocks even better than a lot of the AIB cards. Also, Punks don't use optical drives.

Edit: Forgot that Punks aren't supposed to use an OS in this competition either.

EDIT:If I needed the PC only for gaming, I would be happy with 16 GB of RAM, but since I also do some "professional stuff" 32 gigs is what I went for. I also see that while most of the the previous comments didn't include a case fan, there's never too much cooling. Also double 1TB SSD, so I would never run out of disk space.

Currently OOS (as of posting) CPU Ryzen 5600X MSRP @ $299 and Video Card NVIDIA RTX 3070 FE @ $499 (originally wanted to use the MSI Gaming X one for more RGB power lol but its above MSRP) totals this build around $1,478 (as of posting).

Ryzen 5600X and RTX 3070 combo makes this build viable for Ultra 2160p resolution according to https://support.cdprojektred.com/en...issue/1556/cyberpunk-2077-system-requirements (w/o RT). Enough cooling and additional RGB eye candy by the Corsair cooler, MSI's B550-A PRO is recommended for Ryzen 5000 series according to GN

One of the best recommended airflow case Phanteks P400A Digital + additional exhaust fan (rear), and a trusty PSU by Corsair RMx (2018) series (650W recommended for RTX 3070).

MY THOUGHTS:
I apologise to all mods and staff members for making a alot of edits. It's actually my first time building and recommending a build. And also I wanted to refine it to be as fast as possible and deliver the best gaming performance at this sweet price point.

Now lets jump towards the technical part-

1. There are three no brainers in this build, first i7 10700K, second being the RTX 3070FE and third being the 3600mhz CL16 16gigs of Dual channel goodness. Ik about the 5600X and stuff, practically(benchmarks) amd theoretically(on paper) lags behind the 10700K and as of gaming performance thats 5+ fps on avg.

2. When it comes to budget builds, the most neglected part is cooling, so I provided it the best air cooling solution available in the market wiz, Noctua's NHD15 paired with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut (Liquid metal) which would "Literally" keep our CPU cool and open a room for mild overclocking. Also to mention the four Corsair's 140mm fans to maintain ample amount of airflow inside NR600 (best airflow case at this price point).

3. With SN750 you can kiss your loading screens and texture popins GOODBYE! and the great MX500 secondary storage that would make your daily life stuffs alot faster.

4. About the MoBo, MSI Z490-A PRO is a killer and really a bang for your precious eddies at this budget.

5. 850Watts could be a bit over in terms of our system as RTX3070 recommends only 650 Watts but hey! we are all aware of how power thirsty Ampere cards are! and all those power spikes are not hidden from anyone anymore! Hence, we wouldn't leave anything to chance (as long as we're in budget). Thus, an 850watt 80+ GOLD fully modular PSU.

Thank you PCGamer for giving away this opportunity and also alot of my parts for this build came from your own recommendations

The actual price comes to 1495.22 because of the 11.50 shipping on the graphics card.

At time of writing the exchange rate for $1500 comes to £1123.95. This allows me to more easily stick with the budget being from the UK. This did however make the challenge more difficult budget-wise, due to increased UK pricing, but I embraced the challenge!

I used the pc parts picker format, but again being from the UK I had to change suggested sites to find cheaper UK pricing.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor (£280 @ currys)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M AORUS ELITE Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (£98.99 @ SCAN)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory (£76.79 @ SCAN)
Storage: Crucial MX500 500GB M.2 SATA SSD/Solid State Drive (£52.99 @ SCAN)
Video Card: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB EAGLE Graphics Card (£490 @ currys)
Case: LANCOOL 205M MICRO-ATX CASE - BLACK WINDOW (£43.99 @ Overclockers UK)
Addition Case Fans: Arctic P14 Static Pressure 140mm PWM Fan (£31.96 @ SCAN)
Power Supply: Seasonic S12III 650W Fully Wired 80+ PSU/Power Supply (£44.99 @ SCAN)
Total: £1119.71

Overall very pleased with this build. Nothing fancy going on, everything in the budget is purely going towards maximising performance for your money. Aesthetic future upgrades could include lighting strips, additional RGB case fans and a non-stock cpu cooler. I decided with keeping using the stock cooler, because purely for gaming it should be able to handle the 5600x temperatures nicely. It was between the RTX3070 and RX6800 for the graphics card slot. I chose to go with the 3070, due to having more budget aftermarket cards available and the more advance ray tracing capabilities to get the most out of modern RTX titles such as cyberpunk 2077.

Thanks for the giveaway and good luck to everyone involved!
