The last game you completed

More games completed, both of them being tiny unsatisfying morsels to sate my gaming hunger.

First up Ninja Pizza girl, a runner game where you use parkour to reach the end of a track. Blew through it in 90minutes on normal and called it a day. Whilst not a bad game, there wasn't much to keep me going back to it. It does have a lot of features and things to add replay value, such as unlockables and custom difficulties and challenges, but yeah, didn't feel all that interested.

next up No time to explain a puzzle platformer of sorts as you try to navigate increasingly difficult arenas and try to complete various stage gimmicks. Again, not really my thing, the mechanics and the unforgiving nature rubbed me the wrong way sometimes and the humor doesn't always hit the mark. Besides collecting/unlocking hats, i didn't see any reason to replay it.

Well i'm calling it, i completed Blasphemous i got the "good" ending but not the canon ending alas. A cracking 2d souls-like. Very little to fault it really, great graphics and gameplay. I would say perhaps just like a souls game a lot of the best stuff is hidden content, players will have to discover much of it on their own without much hand holding. So expect hidden walls, obtuse puzzles, secrets and side quests to completing the game.

With all the patches/updates there has been a good chunk of content that will keep you going for a while. once you've beaten the game, you can go to new game + with a much harder mode (AKA torment mode) that puts serious limitations on the player. in addition if you want to play the extra content, you have to be on torment mode. Outside of new game+ there is a boss rush mode to play.

So do i recommend it? For the price you can get this game on sale, Absolutely. in fact it was probably what i needed to play after a somewhat dissatisfied games i had quickly finished.

I'm pretty sure that the 100 rep race in Wheel World is the final race, in which case I've finished it. It's an absolutely brilliant game with a very nice soundtrack.
There's just something about flicking back and forth between corners and then boosting down straights. It starts out simple but the end races are more difficult, although overall it's not a difficult game at all. You really need a controller to play it though.

I played it via Game's pass and it took me just under 6 hours. On fanatical it's £12.39 at the moment which is not unreasonable for the game.

I finished the main story of Creeper World 3: Arc Eternal. It's a great game for anyone who loves turtling in RTS games. It's fairly simple, with a map usually taking about half an hour, and it's not particularly hard unless you try to go for high scores.

The basic idea of the game is that there are one or more sources of Creeper that slowly spread over the map and you have to built a web of resource nodes and weapons to drive it back and destroy the sources.

Only one of the missions has a timer and if you miss it you get another 20 minute timer with a slightly harder to reach objective, which was plenty of time for me. In all the other missions you can take as long as you like. As long as you can set up a safe perimeter before the Creeper reaches your base you can just slowly push back until you've won.

After the main quest line, which slowly introduces new buildings and new ways for the Creeper to spread, there are plenty of challenge maps to try, both official ones and user-made ones.
