Sid Meier’s Civilization VI: Platinum Edition - Free on Epic Games until 7/24/2025 at 5:00 PM

Don't be me: Lol, I just downgraded my Sid Meier's to a worse edition since I already had the free Anthology edition on Epic Games (which was also free a while back). I also think Epic Games could have mentioned that, it's not like people keep track on all these millions of different editions.

I got the base game over 4 years ago via Humble Choice for both my wife and myself. We both played it a bit (~17 hours each), but we both went back to Civ V because it just wasn't as good.

I had both expansions on my wishlist for years thinking that Civ games aren't really complete until you get both expansions anyway and I should give it another shot after buying those. But I could never really justify the price of buying both DLC for both my wife and myself not knowing whether it would fix the issues we had with it, so eventually I removed them from my wishlist altogether.

But patient gaming wins again! Now I can finally determine whether I was right for not buying these expansions or whether I should've just given it a chance years ago.

Not a fan of the civilization (nothing wrong with it, just never got round to play it). Indeed, waiting for the win. Just as well, i've spent too much already. i feel like a damn junkie as i can't stop buying games. too many good offers.
