Sweet deal! I played it for a few hours on Game Pass and it was entertaining enough, but not enough to buy it. The gore is very detailed with tons of ways to dismember the zombies, it is wickedly cool! Game is a bit linear for my taste compared to something like Dying Light, but at least there seems to be some cool side missions you can do on the way and the weapon customization looks fine enough.

It's the type of game I would use cheat codes for to unlock all the weapons and gadgets and then just go on a sweet rampage finding out all the unholy ways to destroy the zombies.

I've played the first Dead Island and the detailed dismemberment was definitely the main draw of the game, especially in co-op. I dropped it when I got to the city and was given a gun.

I’ve beaten Dead Island 2 and I think it’s pretty great. It’s fairly casual, the story and dialogue leave lots to be desired, but the combat and exploration is what makes it great for me. Melee combat feels so weighty and heavy, the gore system is as great as it sounds, and I really liked how the maps were full of secrets and unlockables. It’s not open world, but split into many larger levels that have lots to explore. Usually you’re looting houses and stores, but occasionally you find a key that unlocks a room full of great loot. Graphics are great as well.

Highly recommended since it’s free, it’s even got co-op so you can bring a buddy along and smash some zombie skulls and play the entire main story line together.

Also, if you’re like me and you enjoy playing co-op games with random strangers, this would be a perfect time to do so with the huge influx of new players. Open lobby co-op usually pairs you with people who are around the same level/story progress as you are, so if you play solo far into the game, it becomes harder to find random to join you, but you can always join them with Quickplay. Plus there’s cross play and another rogue-lite mode so you’ll always find people to play with.

Mouthole is soon (no date, but soon) to be delisted on Steam, so here it is still open for grabs. It is some type of psychedelic puzzle game. I also added the free music tracks, so you can indulge in psychospherical healing.

It's rare we see a free to keep EA title this way. Very few people playing in the past and not many now either, so seems like a good move to get more people playing. I looked at their other games and 0 people playing, so perhaps not looking to bright server wise, but you never know. I don't know if they have active servers on their other games, but with 0 people playing, I guess so. Not sure how much they would pay to have them active, maybe cheap cloud based servers?

Bioprototype is free until July 20:

The reason why they are making it available for free it pretty wild though:

Some sources I checked mentioned that BD Games might have manipulated review scores and that is why Valve removed over 50 indie games that had the company as their publisher, like Bioprototype. It would not be the first time something similar has happened:

"Deliver At All Costs will be made available for free via the Epic Games Store. Players should wishlist now to be notified when the game becomes available to download for free, as they will only have one week after release to redeem this opportunity."

Been interested in this game for a long while, very happy to hear that it will be free for a week! It doesn't mention specifically "at launch" but I think that's the case here.

Already posted above, but you weren't tagged.
Deliver at all Costs is FREE on Epic

Why it's free on Epic, I don't know. It just now came out. By the way, the demo is still available on Steam
