I never did use the ropecaster. Not even once.

Are you using the slingshots much?

I don't even have a slingshot. Is it worth giving up a bow slot to have one? How are they different than using a bow?

And I never used the ropecaster until the behemoth. I was sure glad I had one then, though. It worked a lot better than I expected it to. Wait for it to charge, then shoot a rope and tie it down for a few seconds, and blast it with fire arrows until it combusts. Rinse, repeat. It was still kind of scary, but it made it much easier to defeat it that way.

Slingshots do the AoE thing. I didn't use them a whole lot, or the war bow that mostly does elemental damage. I've heard Freeze works very well, though. Freeze an enemy and the damage from other things goes up a lot!

By the way, running over things in Mass Effect 1's Mako... not so effective, but sometimes satisfying:

It's very effective in confrontation with major geth units because it easily knocks them down as well. 🙂
