Question Battlefield V Crashing on the splash screen

Hi there,

Recently bought Battlefield V in the steam sale but the game keeps crashing on the splash screen. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

I've already tried:
Running as administrator
updating drivers
rerouting in registry editor
verifying file integrity on steam
reinstalling the EA App

I have noticed that some EA games get targeted by anti-viruses, or at least MY anti-virus. Dragon Age Veilguard being one of the latest. Putting an exception for your EA client and the game directory (I just do the base directory for all my games and clients) might fix your problem.
