Some of my longest held gaming friendships are with people with developmental or injury related disabilities. The right gear totally levels the playing field for all of us.
See the joy on their faces? They are having much fun. This would be great if a number of disabled children would benefit from SpecialEffect. Customized gaming setup for those with physical disabilities is something new that every people with disability would want. Letting them enjoy their life in through gaming.
I've worked with people who have disabilities since the year 1999. I am an Assistive Technology Specialist (I actually have an I.T. degree for it) and I have known about SpecialEffect for some time. This company/group is so amazing! I would LOVE to work with them or even for them. Heck, maybe they can help me make a controller so I can play VR games without dealing with immense pain but still enjoy them as they were intended to be enjoyed .
Not only a noble case but a good tool too. I see a number of people who want to socialise but past experiences discourage them. I believe that using the right tools and meeting the right people will let us all enjoy the virtual playgrounds.
I've been a supporter of SE for years, doing multiple gaming marathons for them since about 2015. They do great (and important) work for levelling the playing field so that everyone can enjoy video games the way that I do.
I'm loving the initiative companies have been taking to help people with physical disabilities play games. Everyone should be able to play games, no matter what!
The charity gives people who at one time would not have been able to experience many things when it comes to tech, the ability to enjoy it like any other person
It's a wonderful charity, it's so good seeing people be able to enjoy new hobbies despite their disabilities. We need more positivity these days maybe more than ever before in recent years.
It really is important to consider disabled people in the gaming industry and the fact that you guys address it by this charity is really good. My respects
I think its really heartwarming and awesome, disabled people deserve to have fun too, after all. I agree that noone should be excluded from gaming or any of the other joys life has to offer. I would totally donate to this cause, if i had any money at all. I have met alot of people who would enjoy this service.
It's nice to have things that are super different from the day to day and allow you to switch off from it for a bit. Definitely seems a really good thing people are helping others to be able to do one of these things and maybe at times ease the strain and difficulties that came come with being disabled.
