Question What does this mean?—shadow copy message

The oldest shadow copy of volume C: was deleted to keep disk space usage for shadow copies of volume C: below the user defined limit.

I think it's referring to old backups of your C drive. I'm guessing Windows is set up to back up every so often and only set for those backups to take a set amount of space, so once that is reached the oldest backups are deleted.

The only thing you need to do is not panic.

There's nothing wrong, it's just Windows doing its thing, managing your PC. Relax, it's fine.

Okay thank you. So i guess its normal for windows to do that. And why does it do that?

So that your disk drive won't fill up with unnecessary stuff, like old copies of Shadow.

Windows does loads of stuff like that in the background, trying to get the best use out of your PC's resources.
