Like you i'm waiting for dying light 2, but its unlikely to be this next weeks one. but we'll see. if it doesn't arrive? oh well, back to my other games.
A game of that scale, I'd lean more towards the weeklong Christmas giveaways for that. That's when the larger games are on offer, though not always. Dead Island 2 was free on a random week in the middle of the year if I remember correctly.

Throwing in this one here. You have to link your Steam account to the Fanatical site, so if you do not mind that, you can get this game for free between the 5th to 7th of November. It also says new customers only, maybe they mean the newspaper,I dunno. Anyway, looks like a family game, not sure how difficult it would be since it is a platformer, but perhaps toned down a little. It received very positive reviews on Steam.

This is a huge one and for the whole family! The game has some darker areas, but there is a lot that is very family-friendly, such as exploring the school, flying around on a broom, making potions/decorating, or taming different animals.

Howarts Legacy is free on Epic Games until 12/18/2025 at 5:00 PM
Never been a fan of harry potter but can't complain about getting a AAA game for free. Don't think my pc and can run it, but hey maybe one day i'll get around to play it...

I don't have the best graphics card (RTX 3070 8GB RAM), but I thought that most parts of the game that I explored went pretty smoothly. There were some frame drops when I was flying, but not enough to take away the experience.

I have a feeling we will see a Dying Light 2 free game these upcoming weeks:)

i have a 1070 so its not going to be as great. I would like to see DL2 and fingers crossed it arrives! hopefully the reloaded edition with the dubious and apparently meh DLC.

Remember guys, Epic Games announced last night that from today until January 1st, there will be a total of 17 free games. Typically this means starting on Thursday December 18th, there will be at least one free game every day. If you're going to be traveling for the holidays like I am, it helps to log into Epic on your phone browser so you can claim the free games. Based off previous years, Christmas Eve and Christmas day typically have the largest AAA games to claim.

It seems very realistic as the game goes on sale a ton and players generally dismissed it. It's not a bad game, it's just not Dying Light 1. It's currently on sale 70% off $17.99 on Steam.

I'm hoping to see Returnal, a Yakuza/Like A Dragon game, a more recent indie hit, not really sure what I hope to see. Something that I'd like to play I suppose :ROFLMAO:
