Has anyone played this yet?

I have been wanting a remake of rocketball that was on the C64 forever and it looks like it has finally arrived.

I hope it lives up to the original although I seem to be seeing shouts at rocket league as its inspiration, nonsense obviously us old timers remember the old games.

Anyway, was just wanting some opinions on it or did you ever play rocketball?

Never played the C64 game you refer to, but I played Roller Champions. It felt great to play and looking at the vid above, I think you might like it.

I played that closed alpha (or was it a beta?) that was live a month back. Not my cup of tea at all, I just played for a few minutes out of curiosity. It seemed tight and polished, but it felt like they were attempting to make Rocket League with skates.

Also, it was too damn bright, bubble-gum flavored and happy.

But don't take my word for it, as I'm the farthest thing from the intended audience.
