Hello, I am looking for a new gaming PC for my girlfriend and would like advice for the biggest bang for my buck. Here are two I am currently looking at.

Is the Acer worth $300 extra if I am trying to keep the budget low? How future proof is the Lenovo, how many years can I expect it to last running new releases?

What is your total budget? Located in the US?

Are you willing to build your own PC or are you only wanting to buy a pre-built? Sometimes prebuilts can be cheaper than building custom with the same specs. This is not one of those cases. In both instances you could build a better PC for the same price if you go custom.

I live in the US and I would prefer to keep it at about $1200. I could try to build my own as it doesn't look too difficulty if I follow a guide.
Like @Why_Me asked, does this need to include a monitor or any peripherals or is this just for the tower?

Here is the kind of thing I'd be looking at:

That is cheaper than the Acer with a more powerful GPU (assuming your girfriend doesn't care about ray tracing) and a full 1TB of NVME storage.

If you want to keep costs lower you could sub in a less expensive GPU like one of these:

Video Card: MSI MECH 2X OC Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB Video Card ($354.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Zotac GAMING Twin Edge OC GeForce RTX 3060 Ti LHR 8 GB Video Card ($399.99 @ Newegg)
