New PC advice

Hello, I am looking for a new gaming PC for my girlfriend and would like advice for the biggest bang for my buck. Here are two I am currently looking at.

Is the Acer worth $300 extra if I am trying to keep the budget low? How future proof is the Lenovo, how many years can I expect it to last running new releases?

The only warning signs I see is no mention of the make and model of the psu and motherboard. That and it has a mechanical drive for storage not to mention DDR5 4800 is pretty slow when it comes to any kind of gaming.

What is your total budget? Located in the US?

Are you willing to build your own PC or are you only wanting to buy a pre-built? Sometimes prebuilts can be cheaper than building custom with the same specs. This is not one of those cases. In both instances you could build a better PC for the same price if you go custom.

That is cheaper than the Acer with a more powerful GPU (assuming your girfriend doesn't care about ray tracing) and a full 1TB of NVME storage.

If you want to keep costs lower you could sub in a less expensive GPU like one of these:
