Question Modern warfare lagging really badly

I have modern warfare on low settings no other apps open but it still lags

In task manager it say cpu and memory usage are high

Specs are
I7 -7700k 4.20GHz
16gb vengeance rgb ddr4
MSI gtx 1070 gaming X

Please help

problem just start or has it always been an issue?
Have you installed anything recently?
Updated any drivers recently? If not, do that.

An issue that has been cropping up more frequently ( at least in my experience) is that windows game mode is crapping out performace.
Turn off game mode start - settings - gaming - game mode. Turn slider to off.
