Hello,

I just recently switched to HE (hall effect) keyboards,

In the past I was a mechanical linear user, I tried a razer optical but didn't like it.

I have the ajazz ak820max he and the monsgeek fun60 pro

both have software to get rapid trigger responses of .5mm and .01mm

for me personally it is so much more fun to game on a keeb this responsive.

anyone else try these?

if not what style keeb do you use?

mechanical tactile.
Nuphy Halo65 V2 (Just got it last week)

HE are good for shooting games, but if you don't only play those, they may not be as comfortable to use for typing as more standard keyboards.

I thought about one but I just stuck with what I know. That and I don't play shooters. Most of the games I play don't need quick reactions.

This is the corsair straffe i have been using for the past 9 years , i cant use soft touch keyboards because i have locking finger syndrome that make it difficult to type. I use it as plug and play because the driver software has a mind of its own if i set the LED'S to strobe different colours it randomly crashes and stops me typing ?????.

The software support for any keyboard older than 5 years is always spotty. I had that problem with a Logitech keyboard when they swapped the program they used to control keyboards and I lost loads of functions.

Corsair probably didn't use Icue 9 years ago.

Hardware makers don't profit from you using the same hardware that long. No incentive to support them really. I have had to upgrade from working hardware because there is no driver support. Mostly peripherals though.

Way better switch choices than Cherry now.

Hall effect are like linear except they let you select the accentuation point yourself so it can be a gentle tap or a bottom out. Your choice. More useful in games where fast reaction/movements are necessary to stay alive/competitive. Probably not in Satisfactory :D
