Question GigaByte LAN Settings

Need some help. I have Virgin media 200mbps but I’m only getting about 98mbps on my PC. I have it hard wired cat 6 cable. The mother board is a GigaByte B450 Aorus Elite so should easily have great DL speeds.
Any suggestions? Is it something to do with the automatic bandwidth allocation? Many thanks

Have you tried https://www.speedtest.net/ ?

On the PC, and then on other devices?

You could also check your network port is operating at gigabit speeds rather than 100mbps.

Sorry, I did read it. Checked and it says 100 mbps. Surely it should say more as that’s what the mother more is designed for?

It has a gigabit ethernet port (1000mbps) as is standard for modern motherboards.

What kind of cable is it connected to your router with? Cat 5? Cat 5e? It will say on the cable.
