how long it take you to kill all bosses?

I really should play more Resident evil 2 but damn it POE is just keeping me busy as i grind and continue to work towards challenges that seem like miles from completing. I may have 14 and working towards maybe 3 or 5 of them (so it makes 19) and its unlikely i'll get the 35/40.
That said, I did play some Resident evil 2 remake, even on standard the game is pushing me to the limit, bullets/ ammo is extremely tight even if i had 24+ bullets they disappear very quickly. A most notable zombie that seemed practically indestructible taking 10+ bullets, 4 shotgun rounds and a knife stab before he finally succumbed. Where as other zombies drop after 4-5 bullets. I'm missing a beat here, i thought i had to just aim for longer and eventually good things happen, but so far nothing fruitful came from it.
i would like to just run/dodge past them but it doesn't seem to be an option most of the time. There's no dodge mechanic and if there is more then one of them it becomes a nightmare. I could take out the legs but that is not much better then headshots at this point. mercifully the Cerberus (zombie dogs) mercifully take 4 shots, bad news is that there is a load of them. I'll probably play a few saves back and see if i can conserve some ammo.
MR X hasn't arrived yet, but... soon.
My new co-op partner is annoying as f**k. He's about to be my former co-op partner.
Without asking he joined Guido and me in our Darktide game and died moments later, thus screwing up my weekly missions where I need to have 6 missions with no deaths. Then he starts chatting like he's the God of Darktide, dismissive of our need to do the weekly missions, etc. Then he admits to not knowing there were weekly missions. Thirty minutes after we quit the game, he's still sending me chat messages in Steam about how there's nothing useful to be gained from the weekly missions. As far as that goes, he's correct if you already have your highest tier weapons, but we don't, and it's much easier to get them through the weekly missions than to hope they will drop for you via the Emperor's gift at the end of each mission.
I can't stand the whole attitude he's bringing with him.
Guido installed over 1600 mods on Skyrim. I'm not sure if he's got it working or not.
I love co-op and would happily play only that with the right people. You're best off avoiding them as much as possible. Kill the ones that are really in the way so that you can run past the others. Yeah there's no real juke or dodge, so you need to kill off enough that you can make it past them. Also beneficial to try and get them on the ground with a few bullets to the head and then knife, but of course, your knife may break, but still.
It's secretly a resource management game.
Honestly why I can't stand co-op, even with my friends or my kids (maybe I'm a bad father). I just hate going at other people's pace (faster or slower) and having to prioritize their needs. I do that all day and it's the last thing I want to do when I finally have time to game.
Sounding a bit curmudgeonly here, but I have some guilt associated with it, I suppose. My friends always want me to jump in Discord and play something with them, but it's just draining for me most of the time, rather than being relaxing like I want my gaming time to be.
If it works, will he actually play? Modding Skyrim is a hobby unto itself...
Finished The Grand Palace in Dishonored 2 tonight. Ended up spending maybe like 3 hours on that level in total (forgot to look) and while it was one of the most challenging levels, it was definitely a blast to explore. I'm finally officially past where I quit 7 years ago and now it looks like I'm about to begin the final mission.
I have a similar problem, after working all day and then being with my family all evening 9/10 I definitely would rather use the hour I have to myself to actually be by myself. Luckily the guy I play co-op mostly with gets it and isnt offended or anything.Sounding a bit curmudgeonly here, but I have some guilt associated with it, I suppose. Do you know if he installed those through the Wabbajack mod? I had some success with that one when modding Morrowind. It installed tons of mods with the click of a button and then you could adjust some settings as you saw fit, like sharpening, higher resolution, etc.Guido installed over 1600 mods on Skyrim. I'm not sure. It almost had to be at least partly a mod pack to have that many mods in it. I'll ask him today.Do you know if he installed those through the Wabbajack mod? One sad thing about getting old is that some games I would love to play just aren't possible for me anymore. I had to give up on Elden Ring, and I just refunded Path of Exile 2 after throwing myself against the first boss over and over and never even getting him down to 2/3 health.
And I absolutely loved every minute of it, but if I can't get past the first boss, then I can't play. I could try mods or wemod, but what would I really be accomplishing? A few years ago, I could say I'd never failed to beat a game. Now I have to try them out and make a decision on whether to refund them or not.
I could buy a copy for Guido and let him carry me through, but we rarely play anymore. Oh well, back to my chill games, I guess.
It's the first boss about 5 to 10 minutes into the game, so there really aren't any builds at that point. This summer when the game goes free-to-play I may download it again and bang my head against it for awhile to see if I can get better at it.My friends get it too, thankfully. We just like to give each other a hard time; but I also see them semi frequently and we all regularly text, so at least there's that...
Have you looked at different builds? I usually end-up going for Pet/Minion builds in ARPGs, which is maybe why I usually end-up bored with them, but they are pretty friendly to slow/no reflexes.
I heard that PoE 2 is a lot harder and the bosses are more souls like. This is why I'm waiting for it to go free to play. If it's that hard then it's not a game for me. Still another season of Last Epoch is meant to happen before that so I'll give that another go.It's the first boss about 5 to 10 minutes into the game, so there really aren't any builds at that point. He said it wasn't Wabbajack. It was Gate to Sovngarde.Do you know if he installed those through the Wabbajack mod?

But on the way he finds a stray cat and stops and pets it...while his men are dying in the streets of Troy...
The more i play Path of Exile 2 and then switch gears to Diablo 4 the more i wonder why Diablo 4 A. Got a 9/10 from PCG and B. why its such an inferior ARPG compared to others that aren't even fully done.
I'm old and I managed Elden Ring pretty ok-ish I think. One sad thing about getting old is that some games I would love to play just aren't possible for me anymore. I had to give up on Elden Ring,
I suffer from cognitive decline. My brain is far worse now than it was just 5 years ago. In fact, my wife and I have talked about her taking over my finances, as I keep ordering multiples of items off of Amazon that I have no memory of ordering.I'm old and I managed Elden Ring pretty ok-ish I think.
My wife is now in the top 10% of Druid healers worldwide for World of Warcraft.
May science find a way for you and if not, then a miracle.I suffer from cognitive decline........... I'm not sure there's anything they can do for most of those diseases anyway.
