Which video games are you most excited about to come out this year? And in next year 2025 ?

I won't get anything on that list. My #1 is Satisfactory 1.0 in a couple of weeks. Don't have anything other than that at the moment.

I thought this list of releases in 2025 was a good reason to reopen the discussion of what everyone is looking forward to:

Games I'm interested in:
- Civilization 7, though only once all of the DLC has been released.
- Avowed
- Dune: Awakening. I don't think I'll actually play this, but I am curious how true to the Dune experience it will be.
- Fable. I didn't even know they were doing a reboot, but I did really love the first game.

I haven't heard of most of the games on the list, but then I really shouldn't be adding too many games to my (future) backlog anyway...

I happened to see that Subnautica 2 just got a new trailer:

Just watching the trailer is giving me that sense of fear and dread I felt when I just started playing Subnautica. I'm not sure if it's possible to capture that experience again, but I'm going to keep an eye on it. If my friends are interested I might even get to play it in co-op.

I'll be keeping an eye OFF it. I better make sure I stop doing any searches related to that game, too, so no nasty algorithm goes and <ahem> surfaces some video with a spoiler in the title.

Judas is big on my wish list. Same with Light No Fire. Given how many times I've gone through No Man's Sky, I might even get LNF... within a month or two of release!

Wayword Realms could show up by then.
