Risk! That was pretty fun! Diplomacy was great, too, but a bit hard on friendships. You pretty much had to backstab to win.
as a kid i always wanted risk, but we never got the game. Tbh the game could go on forever with only a few users. i do look and see many variations of Risk now and the future one did intrigue me as you went to the moon if i recall.
We did have more of the common board games like battleship, fustration and guess who. The latter one did have a few strats i recall. For the record the one we got was this one:
As you can see if you picked a female character you were screwed as most of them were male. choosing a person with a hat (especially female) screwed you over and if you picked the lady with the glasses it was practically a sure fire loss as there is only ONE lady that had glasses.
Still did anyone play those VHS based board games like atmosphere or that star trek one?
