Hi,

I’m looking for a new gaming mouse and have been checking out different models, including options from Turtle Beach and Logitech. However, I’m uncertain about which brand and model to choose. Do you have any good recommendations that would suit my needs?

I work in IT and marketing, so I spend a lot of time in front of the computer. Occasionally, I also game in my spare time, which is why I’m in need of a new gaming mouse.

Recently, I’ve been playing games like Diablo IV, Orcs Must Die, and Grounded.

Currently, I’m using an old Roccat Kone Air, and previously, I had a Logitech G5. This is why I’ve stuck with these two brands and am also considering Turtle Beach, as Roccat is now under the Turtle Beach umbrella.

I’ve found two different gaming mice that have caught my eye: the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 and the new Turtle Beach Kone II Air.

I came across a Danish webshop that sells the Logitech G Pro gaming mice, but it seems like there are three different models. Can that be right? Apparently, they are:

For the Turtle Beach Kone series, it seems the only difference is that one model is wired and the other is wireless. Here are the links:

It just seems like a lot to pay extra just for the wireless feature.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and recommendations.

Sorry no one answered this.

Unfortunately, I've never tried a Turtle Beach mouse, so I can't compare them to Logitech, but Logitech generally makes very good ones. My personal preference is to get a wired mouse since the wire doesn't bother me and I don't want to have to recharge my mouse.

I've had a ton of mice through the years, and the only company I've used that I wouldn't recommend is Red Dragon. If it looks like the mouse would fit your hand well and has all the buttons you want (I like extra buttons to program macros to or move annoying keyboard assignments to), then it's probably a safe bet that it will be okay.

I have a Razer Deathadder which I really like. I recommended it to my brother, who got one, and didn't understand my fuss. I think mice can be quite subjective and down to hand size, and many other personal preferences.
