Pfew, tough one. The XG27WQ is curved too, yes? In that case I would opt for the Samsung. Personally I think 27" or less shouldn't be curved. Although the XG27WQ has 1500R vs 1000R on the Samsung. But it all depends on personal preferences.

On the other hand, the XG27WQ has a bitter higher brightness and contrast. So my gut says go with the XG27WQ .

i would go look at them in person if you can, it might make deciding easier. Hate to order one on line and not like it when i got it.

i won't vote as I don't know which is better. I went with this in December but its not as fast as those 2 - https://www.lg.com/au/it-monitors/lg-32GK650F-B or as expensive

Yeah, I would go for samsung, visually better from my perception, not due to the brand

Whatever monitor you decide to go with make sure that it's G Sync compatible if you have an Nvidia card.
