I disagree. I'd much rather get a proper cutscene with my exposition than try to pay attention to controlling my character and listening to the exposition at the same time.

Not that you care, but I suddenly remembered the name of the game that let me wander off while everyone was talking, It was Consortium. They tried to fund a sequel called The Tower by launching in early access, but it appears that it was a failure. It only has 25 user reviews and hasn't been updated in 2 years.
