What is something in a lot of games that annoys you?

Here's one I can't stand: You hit escape and then exit, and a little pop-up window shows up and it says something like: "Are you sure you want to quit? Your last save was 45 minutes ago."

Hey, you dumba$$ game, you know what the solution to this is? You save my game when I exit.
I dont trust auto saves i always do a manual save before i exit a game and i back them up to a flash drive as well , that said i once had auto saves in a game get me a new pc.... i took a pc into a store and told them what was wrong. I went back a few days later and they claimed to have been using my copy of Wolfenstein and that it never crashed once. I opened the games saves that were set to 20 minute intervals ..... NO SAVES. = REFUND

Another from my RTS game grievances: quitting the game is conceding defeat. The match ends and declares you the loser. its like a spiteful child declaring victory because i want to stop playing and do real world things.

Another one - Escort missions with rubbish companions. making them indestructible is probably the best case scenario or perhaps hiding away until you mop up the enemy. The worst case scenario is idiotic Ai that's aggressive and gets itself constantly and blames you for them dying. oh, and the route it takes is the longest and most difficult (plus you don't know the route before hand) one instead of taking the safest or most efficient. i'm sure there is a way to balance challenge and avoid frustration for this.

For example, maybe you're defending a convoy and although the convoy can fight/heal itself, it can't do all the work alone (because each wave is big enough to pick off one or 2 at a time) so you're forced to kill a percentage of the wave minimizing damage as they play clean up (with your help of course).

Think this is more a problem in MMOs but escorts where the character you're escorting runs to kill something and then after that's done, runs back to where they initially started their aggro sequence to continue walking.

Escort & Protect missions and dumb NPCs you need to escort. It's nearly impossible to complete them in 1-3 tries, which makes me angry.

That's absolutely true. I have encountered this mechanism in many MMOs. In these cases, you follow the NPC.

However, there is another type of escort mission in which an NPC follows you, and you have to lead them through the labyrinth with traps and prevent the NPC from getting trapped. That's absolutely crazy because they always jump into those traps.

For example, if you walk around a trap and stop to wait for the NPC, they will start moving toward you in a straight line and will definitely fall into this trap. So you have to move short distances around the trap so they can approach you step by step. This makes the mission very time-consuming and annoying.

There is a quest in Stalker 2 that I've played recently, where you need to save a guy who had gotten stuck in the middle of the field with lots of electric anomalies. It took me a lot of time and a bucket of bolts.

I believe it's in Solasta where you have a 4 person party and you are leading them through a dungeon, and you walk around a trap, but the rest of them walk right into it. You actually have to make them stop following you and then take them around one person at a time.

That's probably every similar game. Won't they do that in BG3, too?

Once I see there are traps, I stop everyone and send the thief-type alone out disarm everything.
Thief? Who brings a criminal?

Paladin Ronald: "Wizard Marcus and Cleric Angela, I'd like you to meet the fourth member of our party, Delmar One Hand, an accomplished pick pocket and aspiring child trafficker."

I think they at least kind of try avoiding traps in BG3, but I'm not sure. One thing that does happen is that if you send your player character somewhere and they detect a trap while walking they don't automatically stop, they'll just walk into it face first.

Yeah, encumbrance is a pain—especially when you're 0.1 over the limit and suddenly move like a snail 🙃

For me, it’s unskippable cutscenes before boss fights. Let me fail in peace.
