Question To increase laptop performance

I'm using an asus tuf fx 505dv laptop, do you have any suggestions what i should do so that the performance when playing games is better?

Close down any other software which is running.

Get an external keyboard and mouse—good ones, with useful gaming functions aligned to your preferred genres.

If laptop has a video port, get a good large external monitor you can plug in.

Again, depending on genre, get a good sound system you can plug in.

Get nice headgear to go with those awesome shades—maybe a bandana.
