I've been researching prebuilts, by SI. Due to Youtube and other sites, I have be tracking PCs by Skytech gaming and Alexander PCs. Youtuber, Braethorn, have been praising Alexander PCs and Skytech has been reviewed by other sites.

This week, Skytech announced a Valentine's special of $200 off $2200 and higher builds which falls into my budget. Yesterday, Braethorn announced a "special" prebuilt for his channel. His discount is only $50 but it's better than nothing. Anyway, here are the specs of the two:
Skytech Azure 2: CPU: I7 13700k, Motherboard Z690 DDR5, RAM: 32GB DDR5 5200MHG RGB, GPU: Nvidia RTX 4080 16GB, HD: 1 TB NVMe SSD Gen 4, and Power Supply: 850w Gold ATX 3.0. 1 year warranty.
Total Price, after discounts: $2548.

Alexander PC's The Legionnaire, aka Breathorn Special,: CPU: I7 14700k, Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-PLUS WiFi, RAM: 32GB Kingston Fury Renegade RGB DDR5-6000, GPU: GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, HD: 2TB Kingston KC3000 M.2 NVMe SSD, Power Supply - MSI MAG A850GL PCIe 5, Wifi 6e. Lifetime warranty
Total Price, after discount: $2738

So the difference, price-wise, is $190. Based on specs, to me, the Braethorn has the better components minus the GPU. However, researching the difference between 4080 and 4070 TI Super, the 4080 barely edges the 4080 TI Super so not sure if that should sway my decision.

Appreciate any feedback on this topic. Thanks....

Another option is to order the components yourself and have a local mom & pops PC / laptop repair shop build it for you for a small fee ($200 if I had to guess). This way you know exactly what's going inside your case. Something like this for example.

Thanks Why-Me for the quick feedback. Yeah, I did notice the missing info on the RAM. Another post told me to skip the 4080 and go with AMD RTX 7900 XTC card. I think I'm to the point of research-exhaustion.

Currently, 1080p with my old Geforce 2060 Super.
Here's an example of a solid monitor to pair up with a card such as the RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB.
