So should PC Gamer do a copyright strike against Kitguru for using our name?
Your comment about copyright on name amused me because my last job before retiring was at a vending machine company called darenth mjs and the owner heard me tell somebody my game tag was mjs warlord .... guy said you cant use mjs cos those letters belong to me.So should PC Gamer do a copyright strike against Kitguru for using our name?
Your power on button would be at the back of the desk and you would say oh dear .... every time you wanted to turn the pc on and you banged your head on your desk .... lolHaving a problem with my ancient USB hub, so I've decided to just redo the whole thing. Ordered a type-A hub and a type-C hub and usb extension cables to reach the back of my case, although it wouldn't have bothered me to simply turn the case around and leave it sitting here backwards. Biggest problem with that, though, is that it would be like having a space heater blowing towards me all day.
That might happen if my PC were on the floor (if I had a normal set-up), but I've always set my PC on a desk.Your power on button would be at the back of the desk and you would say oh dear .... every time you wanted to turn the pc on and you banged your head on your desk .... lol

for much of my last PC's life, it was facing away from me, mainly as that was the best way to see RGB fans. And PC was between me and a window so its intakes got fresh air before i did. in theory, if I opened windows up it would.Biggest problem with that, though, is that it would be like having a space heater blowing towards me all day.
probably just depends on the case and how thick the carpet is. Or you could stain an old slab of wood so that it looks nice, and set it on that. How are your masonry skills? Could make a nice rectangle out of bricks, throw some wood trim on there. What's under her room? You could cut a hole in the floor and put a fan in it, then surround it with bricksThat reminded me that I want to get something to put under my old PC, when it goes into mums room. I need to think about what to use. Maybe just a plastic sheet would be enough. I don't want to choke its PSU.
Unfortunately that's not an option for me.I don't think hubs normally have drivers. I don't have a lot of experience with them.
I might do something about my cables in a few weeks. Eventually PC will be right next to monitor on a table and I won't need the hub or any extension cables.
how many do you have?Unfortunately that's not an option for me.
I meant I can't put my PC right next to my monitor.how many do you have?
how many USB devices do you run?
mines 8 port (well, 7 if you include the USB port for the PC connection) but I would think if they close together you can buy 16 port hubs and they not that expensive in US
advertising it as USB C and then only having 2 USB C on the board is a little scammy I think. Why are USB C charger ports so hard to get... I really only have 4 I can use, the front panel ones on most PC don't supply enough power for phones to fast charge. Might only have two, not sure how much charge 40gbps capable USB C sockets can do. I know they can run displays.![]()

so the 5gbps rate on that hub is for USB C.
if you already have 16... um, 16 looks like max... unless you want rank mounted equipment
nice and cheap
oh. Yeah, i get that.I meant I can't put my PC right next to my monitor.
But then I'd have to play terrible VR gamesoh. Yeah, i get that.
you should try VR and then monitor on your head.
Some sacrifices have to be madeBut then I'd have to play terrible VR games
