So I don't think I have ever bought a PC desk.

I mean, my 1st one was

Which I used for as long as my PC's would fit in the area under the keyboard tray. Mum doesn't have that problem as her PC about size of a sheet of A4

I think I had to put PC next to it eventually but I swapped to the box pretty fast for monitor when they also got too big to fit on table. That was about 20 years ago now, I have put up with it long enough.

Ever since then I either used the box my PC sits on now or split it between that and my coffee table when even the box became too small. I am sick of using a coffee table for monitor stand and a box to hold PC up.

I don't have space for a chair so the idea of a desk always meant compromises. This one might not be that tall to deal with. I will run it at minimum height since I will have it next to my bed. I don't want monitor too high.

Part of me laughs at its name... gaming desk

Other part looks at its measurements and thinks, My PC could sit on it, though not sure about its stability

I was concerned about weight but it can hold 110 pounds and my case only weighs 22 pounds. Parts inside add a little but not that much. Monitor is 20 pounds

White might be best choice, black seems to show finger marks too easy
cable bag at back looks cool too.

Or just go mad and build PC into desk

Does that model have anything you really must have?

Otherwise my advice would be, before ordering something else, to go to a used furniture store where you live and look at some solid wood desk that fits your required dimensions considering the space you have available.

From my experience, and I don't live in a large town, there's quality that lasts a lifetime at low prices. And no motors to break down, etc

Only places that match that description are either ex office equipment stores or the charity shops run by some church groups (St Vincent De Paul, Salvation Army) and then its a matter of luck if they have anything - I used to work at a Salvation Army shop and most of what they got wouldn't really work for me.

Alas they don't have websites so I can't tell before going out, and all the shops are in a suburb I rarely go to. I don't have a car and its annoying to get to in buses. Especially if you don't know if they have anything you want.

Most of the stores in town sell desks that couldn't support my PC and that is main reason I want one. I don't want it on the ground.
Also want one with an adjustable height

The Lian LI one was just a joke, but the Ikea one doesn't appear to have anything that might break on it apart from a fault reviewer mentioned in his. Another reviewer didn't have that problem - I didn't link this as entire video turned into an advert for everything he had on his table.

the Ikea one looks to be the cheapest new one I can buy.
