Hi Everyone, New user here and first post. Just looking for some general suggestions on what route I should go to upgrade my GPU and CPU to better accommodate some of the newer games coming out. Preferably one that will run Stalker 2 when it hits and also smoother game play for games I currently own such as Destiny, Tarkov, Dayz etc. My current build is below. If any other info is needed please let me know. I'm willing to purchase any new upgrades needed. Any input is appreciated.

Monitor = Dell - SE2719HR 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor

Motherboard = Asus Prime b365m-a 8th/9th Gen Intel CPU

CPU = intel i3-9100f

RAM= OLOy DDR4 16GB 2666mhz

Power Supply = Montech Gamma 550w 80+ Gold

GPU= XFX Radeon Rx570 RS 8GB

Don't really know how to run my monitor at different resolutions or frequencies. Or what the benefits would be of doing it? Currently I believe it's at 1920x1080 75mhz.

I haven't really thought of a budget. Would like to upgrade so that I don't have to for a while and I know it will cost me but not looking to spend big money if i dont have to. I'm in the United States. I have bestbuy and micro center near me. Could certainly use Newegg or any other online retailer that you think is the fairest.

I've done some research on this upgeade but have come up empty. Partly because im not too experienced on whats best and what to look for. This pc i have now was mt first build and based it on a budget build but mainly due to just wanting to make sure i could successfully complete it. There is alot to choose from and I'm not too familiar with what's compatible and how to figure out what else is needed for it to work. I know at a mimum I'll have to get a new CPU, Graphics card and power supply. I've read that having to replace the motherboard isn't the most fun due to having to reinstall windows and such.

An expert will be along later, but I'm sure they'll strongly recommend that you do a fresh install of Windows after the upgrade. At minimum they'll be a bunch of new hardware drivers involved, and you don't want those possibly conflicting with remnants of older ones—plus just dump the accumulated crud from monthly Windows updates, numerous app updates, temp files, caches, installs, uninstalls etc.

So plan to make a backup of your irreplaceable data—documents, pics, any other personal data—before you start, so you can just plug it back in afterwards. Apps and games can all be reinstalled, but your own personal stuff can't be.

As you accumulate a list of parts, put them into a build at PCpartPicker.com—that's pretty good at flagging any compatibility issues.

Give us a rough idea of your budget and we can go from there.
