Special Effect has popped onto my feed every-so-often with news of them helping disabled players to reach an audience, and I love to see that.
As for expansion, I think having the elderly participating would be nice.

I think it would be neat if you could somehow make VR more accessible as it is an amazing platform that should be experienced and enjoyed by all, however I could see some challenges as some games require a high degree of mobility.

I work with kids that have disabilities and I am happy to support any charity that helps them out. Glad that this charity is receiving some extra awareness.

I would love to see an Integrated speaker with their controllers to provide an extra dimension with higher-fidelity sound effects

It is just what I (as a gamer) would want/expect to use games this way, i also would like them (SpecialEffect) to work directly with the game developers to make the range and effectiveness of these actions wider and stronger.

Doing charity is a great way for less fortunate people to know that people care about each other.

Id like to see it expand on homeless community

Wow that's a really cool initiative. I would like to see them make foot controles for people that have difficulty with using conventional keyboards. Keep up the work!!!

A charity event is always welcome, in our life when everything seems to go fine we just always remember those in needs, those who can't have 2 meals a day and be positive.

Their efforts are very commendable. As an engineer who worked on assistive devices, it's great to see that this group shares the same passion of using technology to break down barriers to enjoyment and inclusion for people with physical disabilities. I'd like to see them further integrate with the gaming industry in bringing accessible gaming across the world.

SpecialEffect are great. At the Ubisoft Experience in birmingham last year, they had a stall set up with raffle tickets to win various ubisoft gear and all the money went to the charity. I think more places should do things like that. Chances to win cool gear and all the money goes to charity :)

Sounds like a great idea. Letting people enjoy gaming who otherwise might not get that opportunity. Wonder if VR will/could play a part.

Wow what a great initiative! Gaming has been a lifeline for me, I believe it can be a truly positive force. It can bring people together and that has never been more true in this connected world. It can also offer a safe way to socialise where you are able to switch off when whenever you want, and participate as much as you need to.

Too bad I saw this late. Are there any entries like this? It is a good thing that it is for a good cause. Winning the headset is also a steal! Well, congratulations to the winner! Also want to join. How will I know if there are new entries?
