i have a gaming laptop, Asus Fx305vd with the OS Windows 10 21H1 version, the age is still 3 years. my disk on laptop is always 100% even no app is open, this make my game lag. why this is happened ?
oohh i see thank you very much brother1TB SSHD + 8GB SSD
8gb ssd? optane? no reference.. odd size
if its only got a 1tb sshd in it, and always at 100%, I would consider getting a new ssd instead as it could be drive is on its way out.
try running crystaldisk info (download from blue buttons) - https://crystalmark.info/en/
and check health of drive out
the OS is installed at the offical Store sir,If your disk usage is at 100% while the system is on idle, then you have what's known as a MemoryLeak and happens when the OS is corrupt. You might want to reinstall your OS. Speaking of which, where did you source the installer for your OS?
well thank you very much brother for the advice. so helpfulWindows 10 can get corrupt during a failed update process, it doesn't essentially mean that the laptop came with a corrupt OS, rather that the OS got corrupt along the way(i.e, in the 3 years you've been owning it). You might want to learn that the OS needs to be connected to the internet and needs to be kept up to date as opposed to the older versions of Microsoft's Windows OS.
That being said, if Disk usage is at 100% during idle after booting into GUI, you will need to reinstall your OS. Recreate your bootable installer using Windows Media Creation Tools.
thank you sir for the information,Good chance you have a program/app which starts when you boot Windows. Malware is the most likely, especially if you havent kept Windows up-to-date. Crypto mining hijacks are popular these days.
Check one of these, they should have links to sites which will run a remote malware check on your machine:
Also check the Startup tab in Task Manager, turn off any apps there which you don't NEED to start when Windows boots.
