This evening I finally received the second wireless controller I ordered and my wife and I started our co-op Baldur's Gate 3 game. So far we've only made our characters, a halfling cleric and a drow druid, but it's a start.
I really enjoy and have fun learning one civ fully
I'll commend them for trying to figure it out on their own
What does 'Follow' mean on Steam, how is it different from Wishlist?
I saw that when it came out. Good for the first 5 minutes or so, but he went on and on and on and ON!Falcon of Gameranx has a fiery19m takedown of clueless execs ruining AAA gaming via GaaS pursuit of profit.
In Steam, go to the Profile header and pick Activity. That's how you see all your friends' achievements and sweet, sweet screenshots! The button mouse-over says, "Follow this item to see announcements in your community activity feed".
Now if the mouse-over could have a mouse-over to explain where the activity feed is.
Yeah some of those Dracula missions in MMS are very intense. If I recall correctly I had to drop the difficulty to Ultimate I for one of them.Dracula is easier in Marvel's Midnight Suns, I guess, but he sure was nasty!
The sad thing is that it's easier solo than in co-op, and I still couldn't do it In co-op it's completely insane because all the area effects are multiplied by the number of players. I spent all my time just trying to dodge attacks.I watched the fight on YouTube and it looks really hard on brutal difficulty. I'd probably smash my keyboard before completing that task.
Thanks for the heads up, I thinking getting mixed in with the new players would be a good time. Of course it’s only new players on Epic when the game is crossplay on many different platforms so you may still encounter a ton of sweats. It’s funny this game still has so many people like that, I remember Chiv 1 from over 10 years ago having people doing stuff like setting FOV to 150 and playing very sweaty.So... Chivalry 2 is free on epic. Dare i jump back in in the hopes of getting some fresh meat or should i not bother? part of the problem is probably the sweat lords and those who kept playing when i stopped are there as well and... well, i'm not entirely sure if the games are all that balanced still. Ok, i admit its difficult to get balanced games, but i would like close games where at least i can hold my own.
i dunno, maybe i'm too thin skinned for multiplayer and i don't have the to git gud.
Onto other news, i've reinstalled arcade tycoon to see if i can fix the floor bug. hopefully i can navigate around the problem using multiple saves etc.

part of the problem is no one wants to play defender and people do their utmost to switch teams as much as possible to attacker so they become one sided even if the devs try to restrict it as much as possible. its a bit like a fighting game i guess, use all sorts of faints and counters to get through defences. At higher levels they're untouchable. I personally like to play in 3rd person mode, but the disadvantage is accuracy. 1st person mode does make it more exciting but i feel even more sluggish when i play it and its extremely disorientating.
I'm torn on sweatiness in games. Mostly I lean towards the idea that it's obnoxious try hardism, but on the other hand, I get it on the level that a person wants to be competitive and the best they can be at the game.
It's just not the way I want to play or interact with games, so I find it very off-putting.
My problem with sweatiness is that's it's typically just very selfish. The sweaty player only cares about getting their own points as high as possible, without caring about having a fun time with the people they're playing with. They don't stop to offer new players advice or just give them a chance to improve. They often don't even seem to really enjoy playing the game, they seem to just enjoy winning.
The Outer Worlds just isn't that good. Sad but true. I made myself finish it and it had some okay moments (including precisely one of the expansions) but I wasn't sorry to finally do so.I still haven't returned to The Outer Worlds, it's been like 8 weeks now. One reason is that I just haven't had much time, but I've managed to make time before.
