Hello. I am looking to play my old Mac games from the 1990s. I am open to how they can work, whether it's an old Mac computer, and old PC lab top, or emulation. I have a few discs. Victor Vector and Yando: The Vampire's Coffin, Sim City Original and Links Pro. Games from the early to mid 1990s. Most of these games say that they are available on Mac 6.07 or higher or Windows 3.1 as well.
Obviously they don't work on the new computers anymore. I have a couple of PC friends. We tried to emulate through Sheep Shaver and UTM. But they didn't really understand how to do it, mostly because I have an Apple MacBook Air. They didn't understand how to match up the hardware.
Should I get a really old Macintosh Computer or should i get a new or old PC labtop?
I'm so anxious to play my old games. It just doesn't seem simple. And even when trying to get my computer friends to try to figure it out, they are a bit confused. And I am definitely not computer savvy. I'll do anything to play these games, even if it's thinking outside the box. Let me know if you have a practical idea.
