Ignoring users can result in empty pages

I just ignored a bunch of the spammers that popped up, but now when I go to my "Unread threads in watched forums" the first and second page are just completely empty, with only the third page having a couple of threads. A similar thing happens when I just browse forums normally, with only a couple of threads showing up on the first two pages.

because you have ignored all the posts on those 2 pages. If you clicked on Show ignored content, it would show you what you "missing"

I know answer as I see the same thing having ignored it all. Forums don't reorganise page contents, they just hide the things you ignored. So if the spam is on 2+ pages, its going to be empty until you reach page 3.

Once spam is removed it won't happen

Yeah, but it can't be too hard to filter out the ignored threads server side instead of just hiding hiding them on my side. It's made even worse by the fact that the "Mark forums read" button doesn't remove unopened threads from the "Unread threads in watched forums" page.

its likely the hiding action only occurs on the client side as it would be easier to calculate, instead of running all the rules for all users. This way it only has to hide them for one user.
