Got a 30-day Arc Raiders ban while playing offline PvE/PvP with friends. No cheats, no exploits. After upgrading to a new PC, even another account got banned on the same machine. Feels like an anti-cheat false positive. Waiting on Embark to review.

When keyboards with programable macros fisr appeared the makers of warframe banned a lot of players because they said you had an unfair advantage
They mostly just banned people who used AHK and created bots that played while they went AFK. There were some people who were banned for creating macros that did things like cast a shield every 30 seconds, but only after they created an automation policy. But not every type of automation is illegal. For instance, you can create a macro for bullet jumping.

Hello again Zed i trust you are keeping well.
In warframe you could enter certain areas and stand in a place where creatures could not get you and somehow the player who decided he was in charge of the run did something that made it possible to hoover up all the things you should be collecting by hand. Before starting we would all agree how long we would stay online for..... just sit reading a magazine and let it happen lol. I have no idea how it was done.
The biggest mistake players made was talking about it in the chatrooms so whatever made it happen was soon fixed .... it was fun while it lasted.

I run a script to allow chrome to run on top of widgets in the icue app on my xeneon edge. When i go to log into Arc Raiders, it wont even allow me to launch the game unless i turn that script off. Even if it has nothing to do with anything, its not a macro to shoot faster etc., they still wont allow it.

You probably were banned for having somethin similar that wasnt detected, or you turned it on after you launched the game. Or someone reported you for past sessions and it just caught up to you.

And the war between cheaters and game companies continues.

This is why people asking for competitive multiplayer to be added to a single player game tend to get a hard NO post from me. If the developers don't put stuff like this in, the multiplayer becomes a complete joke as it gets dominated by thousands of cheaters. If they do put it in, all sorts of benign software gets flagged because it could potentially be part of a cheater's toolkit.

My biggest complaint right now with Embark is how little they have communicated and/or done anything about these "cheaters". One instance is people being able to get outside of the map on Stella Montis. It seems like there would be a simple solution, like they did to the door glitch, but nope. Still dieing to bullets coming from the celing.

Whats worse, is reporting these players (ive reported about 30 players so far) seems to do very little. I never receive any word back from Embark, let a lone a reimbursement for losing gear to them and ive lost plenty of good stuff (aphelions, volcanos, bobcats, blueprints etc.)

The game is still highly entertaining to me but the lack of updates/communication from the developer is concerning to me.
