And the war between cheaters and game companies continues.
This is why people asking for competitive multiplayer to be added to a single player game tend to get a hard NO post from me. If the developers don't put stuff like this in, the multiplayer becomes a complete joke as it gets dominated by thousands of cheaters. If they do put it in, all sorts of benign software gets flagged because it could potentially be part of a cheater's toolkit.
My biggest complaint right now with Embark is how little they have communicated and/or done anything about these "cheaters". One instance is people being able to get outside of the map on Stella Montis. It seems like there would be a simple solution, like they did to the door glitch, but nope. Still dieing to bullets coming from the celing.
Whats worse, is reporting these players (ive reported about 30 players so far) seems to do very little. I never receive any word back from Embark, let a lone a reimbursement for losing gear to them and ive lost plenty of good stuff (aphelions, volcanos, bobcats, blueprints etc.)
The game is still highly entertaining to me but the lack of updates/communication from the developer is concerning to me.
