It's just my opinion but the first option should work out just fine.

well according to the forums for that game it relys on the highest single core Ghz rating. at the moment it is not doing much with the other cores. I asked 4 core verse 8, and they told me it didn't mater, just clock speed.

are you building this system or are you asking which to run it on? If your building you might just wanna up to the 10700, It runs over 5.1 which is a pretty solid leap.
