Sorry about blabbing on about undesirable elements near my neighborhood guys. On a good note though, I forgot to say I met a couple guys while waiting for a bus on that avenue who regularly talk to people in some of the worst areas doing what I would call unorthodox ministry service. They don't force it on you, they don't hand out pamphlets, and they look like regular people. In their words, the women involved in such things are victims of men, and it's a problem that needs to be solved by men, to which I agreed completely.
Anyway, my personal Monkey talk for the day is the bike I was hoping to get on Craigslist is no longer showing, and I have a feeling the poor gal's husband insisted she take the ad down. However I checked again on Amazon, and it turns out now they DO have the same exercise bike brand with magnetic resistance that isn't the Bluetooth Pro model compatible with apps. Not only that, it's 30% off right now, less than $40 more than I paid for the friction pad bike.
I also found out why Amazon's Heavy Box Service (Maersk) has been taking so long to reschedule a pickup for the bike. A guy I just spoke to at Amazon said the criteria the RMA number was based on did not allow anything but main floor pickup (I live on the 3rd floor). So he contacted Maersk and Amazon's credit department so now Maersk knows the service has been approved for an upgrade from standard service.
Training mistakes (or lack of attention of trainees) often happen with Amazon, and their automated phone service leaves a lot to be desired, but their phone staff always do what they can to sort things out. 😍
