Car Racing Game for a non-gaming laptop

I want to start using a car racing game but it needs to work on my existing laptop. It's a high end Dell XPS 13. It's an Intel i7, 32GB RAM - no special graphics card and an external 32" curved monitor.

I have loaded iRacing.com but guys are telling me that because I don't have sufficient graphics power or cooling it won't work.

There must be something else out there that's a little more light weight that could still be fun?

You didn't specify what kind of racing game specifically, so this may or may not be your cup of tea, but this game has incredibly low system requirements. I played it for an hour and refunded it, not because it was bad, but it just wasn't my kind of game. It's a score/time attack drifting game. It's got incredibly tight controls and tons of unique levels, so it's very well made. It's got great reviews too so it's definitely a good game.
